Pamela Diane Ebbink

Pamela Diane Ebbink (Turner), 66, passed away after a valiant battle with Alzheimer's.

 

Survived by her husband Gerald and cat Trixie, of the home; her brother Tom and wife Dorothy Turner and nephew and nieces David, Melissa, Elizabeth and Katie and their respective spouses and children of California.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents Weldon and Willa Mae Turner.

Pamela and Gerald met by chance in 1997 in Oklahoma City and began a loving relationship in 1999 through 23 years of marriage in Colorado Springs.

​

All the time here in Colorado, she was a homemaker. They took many trips to Oklahoma, either through Texas or Kansas. They took day trips around Colorado. They enjoyed Cripple Creek, The Donut Mill in Woodland Park and Park Meadows Mall in Lone Tree. They have many fond memories of Estes Park. They also cheered on their Colorado Rockies on many an Opening Day and games throughout the years.

She began her journey with Alzheimer's in 2015. Gerald cared for her 24/7 and was at her side at the end.

​

No public service will be held. in lieu of flowers, Gerald asks donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region or Care and Share Food Bank in her memory.

​

Gerald wishes to thank the great folks at Interim Healthcare. The staff with PCSS over these past few years helped Gerald immensely. As well as the short time with the Hospice and Palliative Care team. All top notch professionals. He sends his deepest and most heartfelt thanks.
